Memory Lane: Canadian Rocky Mountain Vow Renewal

One of the things I love about the work I do is the opportunity it gives me to be a part of something so special: the love that two people share for one another. The positive and loving relationships we have in life are what are most important, and over time that love grows and develops and becomes even better. I had the privilege of creating stationery for a couple that decided to take the time to step away from the hum of life and express their feelings for one another again as they renewed their wedding vows after 13 years of marriage and two children.

As a stationery designer, my work is all done months before the wedding and if I am lucky I might get to see a picture or two from the happy day; this time though, as the sister of the incredible photographer (click here to get her details), I was lucky enough to travel to the mountains with her and help out as her sidekick, meaning I actually got to be there! It was honestly magical and so beautiful! Not just the location - an enchanting mountain lake in Banff, Alberta, in the dreamy lighting of dusk - but the love that they shared for one another and their small family. It was beautiful in every way!

If you’re wondering about whether or not to renew your vows with the love of your life, you don’t have to ask me twice: please do!

Here’s a list of all the incredibly talented people who helped to make this so wonderful!
